Hymenaic dimeter (L. hymenaicum dimetrum), a dactylic dimeter acatalectic (–˘˘–˘˘).(Described by the Latin grammarian Marius Plotius, who exemplifies it by the two Sapphic lines Ulenisacuµεν' Ulenisµήναον, ὦ τὸν ἀδώνιον, and the L. ‘mens sibi conscia’.)
